The PSC is located in the western margin of Central Sumatra basin and it covers a land area of 1,315.5 square km, which is three times the size of Singapore. The PSC is surrounded by the producing fields of Duri and Minas operated by Chevron Pacific Indonesia and streams over 300,000 bopd. It is also adjacent to BOB P-BSP, Mosesa Tonga, SPR Langgak and Chevron Blocks. The block is located about 120 kilometres from the city of Pekanbaru.
Through our subsidiary, PT Sumatera Persada Energi, we were awarded the Production Sharing Contract (“PSC”) of the West Kampar PSC by the Indonesian Government in 2005 for a period of 30 years. We commenced oil production in a field within the PSC back in 2011.
With more than 20 Prospects and Leads to be explored, West Kampar consists of more than 500 million barrels of oil.
